Endorsee Update
Highly respected UK player Mark Fletcher has joined Baskey taking delivery of two Drum Rugs for his classic kits. Mark’s CV is an outstanding "who's who" of great artists and is far too big to list here and as well as touring worldwide on a near permanent basis, he has an impressive catalogue of recorded work.
Kasabian’s Ian Matthews returned to his second band for a gig in the Soho branch of Pizza Express' Jazz Club last month linking up with James Morton's Porkchop for the London shows. Kasabian are currently taking a break before working on a follow-up to 'West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum'.
The Oli Brown Band with drummer Simon Dring set off on a string of European dates throughout October, Ash Soan headed out with The Waterboys for a tour of Ireland in November and The Aynsley Lister band with Tim Brown on drums commenced a European Tour tour with further UK dates booked throught out November and December.
Simon Cooper has been chosen as drummer for the new Ray Cooney musical 'Stop Dreamin'. Ray Cooney is one of Britain’s best-loved playwrights, having written and directed more than twenty West End shows. The musical is based around the songs of the legendary Chas and Dave and features such classics as 'Ain’t No Pleasing You', 'Rabbit', and 'Gertcha' among many others.
